A-OK

Well Hello!!

Once again, as usual, I havn't written in a while. This time it is because I have had my mind on other things...

I spoke to my Doctor today, and after a week of waiting, my results came in....all is good!! Thank GOD! I was really getting worried there for a while. I had to undergo so many random and disgusting tests. Ultra Sounds, Blood Tests, Urine Tests (by the bucket load!). But all is well :)

Lets hope that I don't have to go through anything like that again, because its not the best thing to be tested for something that could range from a burst blood vessell, to an STD, to Cancer.

Im definately one of those people who internalises everything though. I kept the whole thing to myself really, I know many people who when they have a problem, think it is their right to tell everyone to get sympathy.

Work has been going really well. We have had quite a few new people start since I have been there, and the team gets on really well. I am still loving working in an office dominated by women, although I am not enjoying the nickname of 'Peaches'. haha

This week I have made a strong attempt to seriously get back into the gym routine. I have been 3 nights in a row so far and I am feeling really good about it. C has been going consistently for a few weeks now so I definately need to play catch up!

The other weekend I went to Parklife...I am a huge fan of Fuzzy events. They combine cheesy house music, good weather, great DJ's and some of Sydneys most beautiful landscapes to creat one damn funky party. I am not a fan, however, of the posers that generally attend these events.

Parklife was huge this year, way bigger than previous ones, it almost rivaled Field Day!

C and I got rightly toasted and had a great day....especially when it ended with one of my mates passing out on my couch and throwing up. Gold!

Things with C are going fairly well. I guess they are not going as well as they could be though. I think we are so madly in love with each other that we smother ourselves, the result is that we spend too much time in each others pockets. We are trying to work it out though. I think its important that we both have the common goal in mind - staying together and being happy - so I am sure we can work through our problems.

I need to include a rant in this post...

I hate cyclists in the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They piss me off like you would not believe. I think if it wasn't for the fact that I double check before crossing any road, I would have been cleaned up by a moron cyclist running through a red light about 5 times this year! Seriously, they think they own the roads! Working in a city like Sydney, with every Tom Dick and Harriet pushing their way through you on a foot path, the last thing you need is some tool on a pair of wheels cutting you off on YOUR footpath.

Ok the rant is over :)

I'll be back soon!
